Ceramics Class

Ceramics Classes & Workshops

The OSU Craft Center Ceramics Studio is designed as a welcoming and functional community space. There are 13 electric wheels, including a wheelchair accessible wheel. The studio also has 2 kick wheels, a hand-building space and a range of handbuilding supplies, wedging tables, a slab roller, a pug mill, and an assortment of high fire glazes. Ceramics Studio Manager, Chip Hand, and two student clay techs keep the studio running and the kilns firing. Classes are small, allowing for quality instructor time. Class sign-ups are done in person, at the Craft Center.

Students can sign up starting for Fall 2024 classes on Wednesday September 25. Staff, Faculty, and Adult Public can sign up starting Friday October 4.

Have questions? Need a little help with a technique or skill? Stop in during our Clay Tech hours, which are on the whiteboard in the Ceramics Studio.
