The jewelry studio features a number of torches and the necessary ventilation, a pickle for metal jewelry, large worktables, and a bang room with anvils for shaping metal pieces.

Mo can help get you started as you learn together, or just give you an orientation!
Classes are small and intimate, allowing for quality instructor time. In order to sign up for a class, please come into the Craft Center during our Open Hours.
Students can sign up starting for Fall 2024 classes on September 25 Staff, Faculty, and Adult Public can sign up starting Oct 4
Basic Metals/ Jewelry making

A great introduction to metal working and beginning jewelry fabrication. The class will work with brass, bronze, and copper with some provided silver elements. We will focus on project design elements, hand cutting, soldering & torch work, with some basic forming, stone setting.*Please wear closed toe shoes and tie long hair back*
Silver Ring Workshop

Learn how to make a handcrafted silver ring. No prior experience needed. You will be guided in how to cut, shape, solder & polish a simple ring and leave with a wearable piece of hand-crafted art! Materials included. wear closed toe shoes and tie hair back.
