From Student Leadership & Involvement (SLI) to Student Experiences & Engagement (SEE)

Continuing Student Leadership & Involvement’s (SLI) legacy of leadership, student empowerment, service, and programming, SLI has evolved into three of the SEE departments: Community Engagement & Leadership, the Craft Center, and Experiential Learning & Activities. Community Engagement & Leadership is made up of the SLI programs formerly known as the Center for Civic Engagement (CCE), Leadership Development (LD), and the Student Sustainability Initiative (SSI). Experiential Learning & Activities is comprised of Orange Media Network and four programs that were formerly part of SLI: OSU Program Council, Global Community Kitchen, SORCE, and Clubs & Organizations. The Craft Center is now its own department. Diversity & Cultural Engagement continues to be its own department that includes the seven campus Cultural Resource Centers: Asian & Pacific Cultural Center, Centro Cultural César Chávez, Ettihad Cultural Center, Hattie Redmond Women & Gender Center, Lonnie B. Harris Black Cultural Center, Native American Longhouse Eena Haws, and Pride Center.
