I. Call to order
Board Chair Melia Castro called the meeting to order at 4 p.m. for election interviews and deliberation for KBVR-TV station manager, PRISM editor in chief and KBVR-FM station manager. Steven reminded board members on the election process, confidentiality and voting procedures.
II. Executive session
The board chair made a motion to move the meeting to executive session at 4:06, Mason seconded and this passed unanimously.
III. Public session and vote
The chair called the board back into public session at 5:14 p.m. for the vote on KBVR-TV station manager. Board members cast paper ballots.
Steven read the results aloud: CT McNew will be the summer TV station manager and Ava Huffner will be the academic year TV station manager.
The board returned to executive session at 5:26 p.m.
IV. Public session and vote
The chair called the board back into public session at 6:03 p.m. for the vote on PRISM editor in chief. Board members cast paper ballots.
Steven read the results aloud: Tate Kraetzer will be PRISM's editor in chief.
The board returned to executive session at 6:10 p.m.
V. Public session and vote
The chair called the board back into public session at 7:10 p.m. for the vote on KBVR-FM station manager. Board members cast paper ballots.
Steven read the results aloud: Miles Sadler will be the FM summer station manager and Taija Riley will be the FM academic year station manager.
VI. Adjournment
The chair adjourned the meeting at 7:13 p.m.
