I. Call to order
Board Chair Melia Castro called the meeting to order at 4:08 p.m. for interviews and deliberation to elect an editor in chief for The Daily Barometer for 2026-27. Candidates were Andres Bedoya-Bunch, Zeke Wilday and Jenna Benson. Melia reminded board members of the election process, confidentiality and voting procedures.
II. Executive session
The board chair adjourned the meeting to executive session at 4:11.
III. Public session and vote
The chair called the board back into public session at 5:43 p.m. for the vote on KBVR-TV station manager. Board members cast paper ballots.
Steven read the results aloud: Jenna Benson will be the Baro EIC for the coming academic year.
VI. Adjournment
The chair adjourned the meeting at 5:47 p.m.
