Zeena Faulk was born and raised in Iraq before coming to the United States on a Fulbright Fellowship to pursue an M.A. in Journalism. She subsequently went to Kent State University to earn an M.A. in Arabic-English Translation Studies. She has worked as a translator and translation program manager for the Cleveland Clinic and Mayo Clinic, where she translated the clinic's patient education content into Arabic. She is working toward her Ph.D. in Literary Translation from the University of Warwick (UK) and has many publications in Literary Translation journals. She now serves as the Center Director for the Ettihad Cultural Center (ECC) at OSU.
