I. Call to order
Board Chair Melia Castro called the meeting to order at 4:04 p.m., moving directly into executive session for election interviews and deliberation for The Barometer editor in chief, Beaver's Digest editor in chief and DAMchic editor in chief.
II. Public session and vote
The chair called the board back into public session at 6:16 p.m. for the vote on Beaver's Digest and The Barometer. Board members cast paper ballots.
Steven read the results aloud: Zoey Giltner will be Beaver's Digest editor in chief and Marina Kandas will be summer Barometer editor in chief. The board determined it would reopen the Barometer EIC position for the academic year, with a new election date to be determined.
The board returned to executive session at 6:30 p.m.
III. Public session and vote
The chair called the board back into public session at 7:20 p.m. for the vote on DAMchic editor in chief. Board members cast paper ballots.
Steven read the results aloud: Jadzia Jula will be DAMchic's editor in chief.
IV. Adjournment
The chair adjourned the meeting at 7:21 p.m.
