Instructions: How to Register an Event for Beyond Earth Day

How to register an event for Beyond Earth Day:

  1. In the “BED Event Submission Details” section of the Beyond Earth Day website (beav.es/BeyondEarthDay), click on “Add an event to the calendar”.
  2. The Beyond Earth Day calendar will open in a new tab.
  3. Once it opens, click anywhere on the calendar to begin adding the event.
  4. An information box will open that will allow you to enter the event details.
  5. Every event must have the following information before it can be submitted:
    • Event Title
    • Event Date and Time
    • Organization Hosting the Event
    • Event Location
    • Event Description
    • Email to Contact with Event Questions
  6. Once all the event information is filled out, click the green “Save” button.  This will create a pending event in blue on the calendar.

Within 2 business days of submitting the event, Community Engagement & Leadership will review the event to ensure it has all the needed information.

  • If the event has all the needed information, Community Engagement & Leadership will approve the event and it will become orange. Once the event appears in orange on the calendar, it can be seen publicly.
  • If not all the needed information has been submitted, Community Engagement & Leadership will contact the provided email to get the information so that it can be approved. 

If your event is not approved within 2 business days and you are not contacted for more information, please email Community Engagement & Leadership at [email protected].

If you need to edit your event, you should be able to return to the calendar and change any event details for events you have added.  If you are unable to make changes from the same computer and browser, please contact [email protected].
