OMN IS A PLACE FOR ANYONE WANTING TO LEARN
Whether you are aspiring to be a journalist, seeking a broadcasting career or just wanting to find a great job about graduation, we have you covered. You can take the skills you learn at OMN — critical thinking, problem solving, attention to detail, project management, leadership, grace under deadline pressure, interpersonal skills/teamwork, writing and communication, grit, curiosity, and more— and apply them to any career. Employers want graduates with these skills, and OMN students develop them through the process of creating national-award winning media.

NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Here at OMN, we help students of all majors and experiences develop marketable leadership and communication expertise while learning and practicing hands-on professional media skills. You provide the interest and enthusiasm, we’ll provide you with the technical skills, equipment, training, and mentors to turn your ideas into TV shows, podcasts, news articles, magazine stories, photo shoots, documentaries, marketing campaigns, and more.
All content at OMN is created, decided, and produced by students. Students decide and make what goes on the air, online, and in print.
